These skirt treatments can be added to most non-skirted styles. Draped skirts cannot be changed nor decorative cord added.

Decorative Band Skirt Applications

Pre-made Decorative Bands can be applied at the bottom of a Kick Pleat Skirt or Draped Skirt as well as around the base of many non-skirted styles. Charges are specified in the price list. You can specify where the band is to be applied as well as request a single or double row of banding. Applying around the bottom of the skirt hem/bottom of upholstered base will be standard, unless otherwise specified. Decorative bands cannot be applied to velvet fabrics.

Fabric Skirt Band Applications

Contrasting Fabric Skirt Band can be applied only at the bottom of a Kick Pleat Skirt or Draped Skirt. Charges are specified in the price list. You can specify between 1 - 4 inch width. 2 inch will be standard, unless otherwise specified. The fabric cannot be applied on the bias. Velvets are not recommended for contrast skirt bands. Using two fabrics of similar weight is recommended. Corner blocks will be banded to match the skirt, unless otherwise specified.
